Justin Reneau was called to XMA September of 2010.  Justin is originally from Monroe, LA and currently resides in Shreveport, LA.

What is your favorite piece of equipment in the field? i.e. Don’t leave home without it…

A well broken in pair of hiking boots or trail running shoes.

What is your favorite scripture verse?

Hebrews 4: 12

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Why is this your favorite?

The reason why this is I my favorite verse is because we get caught up in “what to say” when trying to be a continuous witness. This verse points us directly to what we are to say… Scripture. We are to speak scripture because it is living and active and that is how we can be effective witnesses of Christ’s gospel.

What specific areas do you serve?

I help with operations of the ministry and guide several trips a year to various areas we serve. I also engage in a ministry of XMA through stateside races, like trail runs and adventure races.

What skill set has God equipped you with for use in the field?

I also feel He has equipped me with a passion to motivate others to serve and to help them discover ways they can serve.
