TribalConnection a success

Our first TribalConnection trip was a tremendous success!  We visited 3 villages giving out God's Word and providing medical help.  We also made video connections with TribalConnections in 2 of the villages.

Our team held a medical clinic in the village of Piscina de Pena Blanca where we treated about 75 patients.  One 8 year old boy had a very bad open sore on one of his legs.  This sore started as an insect bite over 5 months ago and has continued to get bigger and more infected in spite of his mother's efforts to treat it.  Trish was not sure of the diagnosis so we fired up the TribalConnection laptop and satellite link.  Within a few minutes Trish was consulting with 2 doctors 1,500 miles away in McKinney, TX.  As she gave the doctors the information and patient history they were able to view the boy and the wound through the web camera.  In a few minutes the doctors gave Trish a diagnosis and 2 prescriptions.  The young boy is now on medication which we pray will cured him.  Without TribalConnection this young boy would have most likely lost his leg and possibly his life.

We also had a professional videographer from a production company who works for the  Discovery & History Channels filming this.  The production company is going to use this film to pitch a TribalConnection series to Discovery Health Channel.  If this goes it could provide a big boost in our volunteer recruitment allowing us to reach many more villages and unreached people.

Please be in prayer that this will work out as God desires.  Thanks for supporting XMA!  Without your help we could not be serving.

Success it was!
Randy, I have been on many trips over the past 10 years. I don't believe I have been on any that was as well organized and led by such qualified people in the field. Was it a challenge...yes! Would I go agian...tomorrow!It was an honor to go and capture the vision of those involved with Tribal Connection. Each team member involved shared the same passion. To reach the lost, and share Jesus Christ. To help others obtain a better way of life, through XMA and Tribal Connection.Thank you agian for allowing me to be part of this very special trip. How exciting it was to hear the line ring and to see the first Tribal Connection from the jungles of Honduras. As the local village people watched on in amazment, their eyes wide open, how exciting it was! I know this will be a valuable tool that God will use to reach the lost, and those with so many needs. God Bless you my friend for all that you do.
For His Kingdom,
