Jesus tells us to go make disciples, and that's exactly what we set out to do! Through going and telling others of the Great Commission, we are being obedient to the Lord and growing His kingdom. With God's provision and guidance, we aim to bring peace, joy, and restoration to everybody we meet!

XMA is excited to announce a new way to serve—stateside mission trips! These trips allow you to bless missionaries, pastors, and ministry leaders who are back in the U.S. for rest, recovery, and training before returning to the field.

Current Stateside Partnerships

Arkansas

We’ve partnered with Tributary Retreat Center, a 175-acre refuge in the mountains of North Arkansas. Tributary provides free personal retreats, coaching, spiritual direction, and debriefing for those in ministry.

With so many facilities and expansive grounds, Tributary has ongoing needs for repairs, maintenance, and building projects of all kinds. You can make a huge impact by lending your time and skills!

Length: Long weekends to a full week
Cost: Transportation and food only
Lodging: Cabins, RV sites, or tent camping (as available)
Location: ~5 hours from North Louisiana | ~6.5 hours from Dallas

Is my donation tax-deductable?

I want to join an XMA trip. Where do I start?

What do the expenses cover?

Your XMA trip cost is all-inclusive. It includes airfare, lodging, food, ground transportation, interpreters, offerings to partner ministries, and more. It also includes many things that most others haven’t thought about or don’t mention such as travel medical & emergency evacuation insurance and satellite or other emergency communication equipment. Plus all of our staff team leaders are Wilderness First Aid & CPR certified and have international travel safety & security training.

Where will I be staying?

Depending on the team and area you will be serving, your facilities may be our own mission house, a hotel room or an apartment provided by a local partner. All of these facilities will have showers, toilets and running water. Some teams travel farther out to villages and camp overnight using hammocks and camping pads. On those trips there isn’t always running water and flushing toilets available.
